Laura Bush- Her Style And Her Looks

It can’t be easy being married to one of the most powerful men in the world. When your every move is scrutinized and your picture is regularly in the papers, you have every right to be a little conscious of your looks. So how does Laura Bush handle it? And does she have anything to feel self conscious about?
Fashion Journalist Louise Gerrard says: “Laura is the perfect politicians wife. She’s knows how she is expected to dress and she has her style down to a tee.

Laura always looks very conservative. Smart skirt suits and pearls are almost her trademark. Its hard to know though whether this is Laura’s personal choice or just what she knows she has to wear. The First lady cannot be seen in cropped jeans and a tank top!”

“Laura’s style is a little ‘uptight’. Even with her role as the First lady she could loosen up a little. Well-lined wide trousers with a fitted blouse is both smart but cool. I think Laura could do with showing a little bit more of an adventurous style to show a more youthful side to her”

Hair and make-up stylist Caitlyn Moore says “Laura’s hair is quite fussy. It’s very ‘styled’ and looks quite high maintenance. This type of style is quite dated and can add years to a person’s look. Laura could try a more choppy style to give her a more modern look.”

Cosmetic Specialist Dr Richard Halton says “I do not think Laura has received any surgical assistance. There is a possibility of some restylane injection though as her skin is quite smooth in appearance.”
