Janet Jackson has not had an easy time of it lately. Her brother faced another child sex court case, her last album didn’t do as well as it was expected to and to top it all off she’s been criticized in the tabloids after putting on a little weight. All that stress would get to anyone so Janet could be forgiven for looking a little worse for wear.

But Janet is of the Superstar breed who seem to defy reality. Just months after being spotted look a little frumpy to say the least the singer was back to her usual stunning self and actually looking better than ever! So what’s her secret?

Fashion Journalist Louise Gerrard says” “Janet looks amazing! It seemed to take her no time at all to get her super-toned figure back and it’s almost unbelievable that she is 40! Janet has a really funky style and because she looks so young she can pull it off without looking like she is trying too hard. Because of her figure everything looks great on her anyway! I doubt there are many twenty year olds with a stomach that toned!”

Cosmetic specialist Dr Richard Halton says: “Janet looks to have had rhinoplasty, known more commonly as a nose job. Rhinoplasty can change the entire aesthetic of the face and is a very popular treatment. However this is not an age defying treatment. People who undergo the surgery have usually disliked the shape and size of their nose for sometime and decided to have it corrected. I don’t think Janet has had any treatments to make her look younger. She has quite a youthful looking face naturally.”
